This 1 hour course has been specifically designed to prepare individuals for working with infants and children as well as special individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities as a caregiver in an in-home setting.

Course Objectives

Caregivers for individuals with developmental disabilities will learn to support self-care, communication, mobility and independence, while understanding the causes and special needs of this population.
